About Us

At Grup Calafat, we didn’t start off doing weddings, the beginning of our business group was more than 50 years ago when we established ourselves with Circuit Calafat (racetrack),
the Calafat and Sant Jordi Marinas, our holiday rentals and restaurant.

How did this adventure start? Well, by popular request… we get
requests to celebrate events in our facilities and in 2015 we rented our space for a wedding
for the first time, we liked the idea and timidly began to forge it by doing more weddings. But 2019 arrived and we fully launched ourselves into the adventure of weddings and events by the sea. And Calafat Events was born, a declaration of intent to make the most authentic and beautiful beach weddings in the Mediterranean.

We carry this on, convinced that our weddings are #beachweddings with a taste of the sea, the sand as the protagonist, cliffs as a beautiful backdrop and if you want a balcony with great views of the Mediterranean, our terrace in Port Marina Sant Jordi is the ideal space for you, with more than 270º views of the sea.

Past and present coexist in a magical place with its own personality, respecting our environment and our identity at all times, a venue that transmits warmth and harmony.

Calafat Events is a dreamlike spot, but above all it is a team of people
who works rigorously and professionally to build your wedding or any experience you want to carry out, one point beyond, that of originality and exceptionality.

Here we are, waiting for you on the beach or in front of the sea. All these circumstances, together with the beauty of the area that surrounds us and the different requests we have been receiving for celebrations, have led us to create Calafat Events, fully dedicated to holding events with a taste of the sea.
